Well, here’s the final painting. Thanks to all of you who hung out over my shoulder and followed the process. happily, this painting is no sooner done, than I begin a new commission the same size this weekend. A scene of a client’s garden. Very French. Very Stebner. Stay tuned.
In the meantime, I’ve been creating a new collection of stoneware garden structures based on architecture of Normandy and the Perigord from my trip this summer. They, along with a collection of very small unframed paintings will be featured at the Herb Fair at Quailcrest Garden, Saturday, September 8th. As soon as the kiln cools down enough to unload, I’ll photograph some to tempt you!
